Farewell to Bruno and Federica

Bruno Manuel D'Ambrosio Zeballos (Research Staff) and Federica Marín (Visiting Ph.D. Student from Uruguay) have completed their time with our lab. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Welcome Afees Abiola Ajasa

Afees Abiola Ajasa joins our lab as a postdoctoral researcher. Afees completed his Ph.D. at Nofima / NMBU in Norway, working on quantitative genetics and statistical genomics.

EnrichKit published in Frontiers in Genetics

Our paper describing EnrichKit, a multi-omics tool for livestock research, has been published in Frontiers in Genetics. EnrichKit maps genomic coordinates to gene features and performs functional enrichment analysis for livestock species. Read paper →

Guillermo Martinez Boggio joins UC Davis as Assistant Professor

Congratulations to Guillermo Martinez Boggio, who has accepted an Assistant Professor position at the University of California, Davis. Guillermo was a postdoc in our lab from 2023 to 2025 and will be greatly missed.

greenfeedr R-package published

Our R-package for processing and reporting GreenFeed data has been published in JDS Communications. greenfeedr helps researchers and farmers process enteric methane and CO₂ emission data from dairy cattle. Read paper →
